Uniform

At Sacred Heart, Leigh we believe school uniform is very important as it gives a sense of pride and feeling of belonging to our school family.  Uniforms with school logo are all available from Bang Bang, Jaymax and Hilary on the market.

 

School Uniform

KS1 (Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

  • Light blue polo tshirt, with logo
  • Navy blue sweatshirt, cardigan or jumper, with logo
  • Dark grey trousers, blue tartan skirt/pinafore, or blue pants (Girls).
  • Sensible shoes (no trainers).
  • In Summer blue gingham dresses may be worn. 

KS2 (Classes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11)

  • Light blue shirt/blouse.
  • Sacred Heart tie.
  • Navy blue sweatshirt, cardigan or jumper, with logo
  • Dark grey trousers, blue tartan skirt/pinafore, or blue pants (Girls).

P.E./Games Kit

  • Pumps (Key Stage One should wear elastic-sided pumps)
  • Blue Shorts
  • White T-shirt

All children should have a warm outdoor kit in school during winter.

  • Tracksuit bottoms
  • Jacket or sweatshirt
  • Trainers

All kit should be in a pump bag marked with the child’s name.

ALL CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR (including P.E. kit) SHOULD BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE CHILD’S NAME

 

Is my child allowed to wear jewellery?

Children should not wear jewellery in school as it can get lost, damaged and can be dangerous.  If your child has pierced ears they are allowed to wear stud earrings but they need to be able to remove their own earrings when doing P.E.
